Questions about the boat cruise tour
Currently all passengers (apart from under 13 year olds) are required to wear a face mask. We sell facemasks for €1 on board the boat if required. You will also need to bring your booking details, either on your phone or printed on paper.
Yes, children and babies are more than welcome on board. Under 2’s are free. We would ask parents to be very mindful when bringing children and prams on board, and also when on the deck.
The tour takes approximately 50 minutes.
Unfortunately there is no toilet on board. However there is a public toilet within 2 minutes of the boat. It is located near the café at the side of Ross Castle.
Unfortunately we do not have disabled access at the current time. Passengers need to climb a small portable stairs to access the boat.
It is advisable that you prebook on our website to avoid disappointment, especially in the current climate of covid-19 restrictions. Our numbers onboard have been reduced dramatically due to social distancing restrictions.
Yes, there is a sanitiser to the left as you enter the boat.
In harsh conditions the boat will not set sail. The normal conditions on the lake are calm. Seasickness would be very rare.
Questions about the jaunting car tour
We collect at Scotts Hotel on Scotts Street and drop off there also, when only booking a 1 Hour Jaunting car tour. If you choose to book the Combination Tour, Ross Castle is where your tour ends so you will have to make alternative arrangements back to the town centre.

Yes, children are very welcome on our Jaunting Cars Tours. The combination tour is a wonderful family day out trip to see Killarney and what it has to offer.
The Jaunting Car Tour takes approximately 60 minutes from Killarney town centre through the Killarney National Park and back to the town centre.
If you are taking the Combination Tour it takes 1hrs 45 minutes, but we always give you time to explore the grounds of Ross Castle.
It is advisable that you pre-book on our website to avoid disappointment, especially in the current climate of Covid-19 restrictions.
